At Trinity Bretons we believe that every dog, from puppy to adult, is the result of intentional planning around three primary areas: genetics, training, and nutrition. Our dogs come from the finest lines from France or United States, with our foundational lines being rooted in the Aux Perdrix kennel from southern France. Aux Perdrix has produced world renown dogs Ray, Titus, Shun, Minnie, Mac, Milk, Best, and more. It is out of these dogs that our foundational lines have been formed over the last 20+ years.

We feed all of our dogs top nutritional dry kibble, from Victor Dog Foods, from puppy to adult they are either on Victor Hi-Energy or Victor Hi-Pro Plus depending on their level of activity and our desire to lower or raise pH levels in our breeding dams during breeding, pregnancy, and whelping. All of our puppies start on soaked kibble by 4-5 weeks, allowing them to become solely reliant on kibble before they depart to their new homes at 8+ weeks of age.

Our training program and philosophy strictly follows the Hickox Method of pointing dog training, and puppies begin clicker training with kennel work at 6 weeks of age. This is to take full advantage of the “imprinting stage” of a dogs life, during which time they soak up and return more knowledge and learned behavior than at any other time in their life. Through positive reinforcement, using clicker training, all Trinity pups go home with a solid foundation and embedded desire to learn and to win whatever game/behavior you wish them to have long term.

We offer the Trinity Upland Academy 2x a year, for our puppy buyers or deposit holders to attend a clinic led by George Hickox to learn the method and build a program for your dog and desired outcomes.
