Moose makes history! Wins American Field Open Shooting Dog stake!

Moose was handled by veteran professional Matt Basilone. Moose had an exciting run exhibiting style on his run and his points with four steady to wing and shot finds. A field trial Open Shooting Dog win for a French Brittany (Epagneul Breton) is notable in the fact that Moose’s win is big news. Moose is the first French Brittany to win an Open Shooting Dog field trial. Moose topped a field of Pointers and Setters to add to his already impressive accomplishments.
I had the pleasure of working with Moose during the summer of 2020. Moose stepped up to the plate learning to handle off horseback while being worked on wild sharptails and pheasants. Moose returned to work with us in GA on quail and continued to develop into an exceptional bird dog.

We are thrilled and humbled to be the current and back-2-back-2-back winners of the National Elevage Title! The National Elevage is awarded at the annual national conclave and field trial, hosted by the parent club, the Club l’Epagneul Breton - United States (CEB-US) to the kennel that has achieved the highest levels of excellence and consistency in their breeding program.
In 2020, 2021, and 2022 Trinity Bretons was recognized as the best breeder in the country through the National Elevage Title. There truly could not be a higher award, or greater compliment paid to a breeding program than this. Both years the dogs we entered are of the lineage of Moose, using him, his daughter (Onnie), and his sister (Libby). In 2021 we became the first kennel in the United States to ever defeat a French breeder in the National Elevage, fortifying our place in the ranks of top breeders in the world.

Join us for training days, clinics, or long term programs to develop your Trinity dog!
